There are so many pieces to think about in your online marketing.
It moves fast.
There are always new ideas popping up.
And it can often feel like you need your copy done… yesterday.
But most copywriting projects require a bit of time and prep to get them going. That means you’re often looking at 2-3 months before you get your copy and are able to put it to use.
And often, that's just too long to wait.
Luckily, there's a way around that
The Magic Tonic Copy Intensive
A fast turnaround copywriting service to get your project done in a day
A full-day copy intensive is a perfect way to power through your copywriting, without waiting months for a full project (and without the cost of a full project, either).
Right now you might be:
- Wanting to get on top of your online marketing (so you can focus on the things you actually like doing)
- Trying to explain what you offer in a way that sounds amazing to readers and beautifully represents your business
- Overwhelmed with the many moving parts to your business marketing
- Want to get things done (like yesterday) when the idea sparks
A Magic Tonic Copy Intensive is perfect for you if you...
- Are on a tight deadline to get your website, emails or sales page done
- Already have some copy but want a professional eye to copy edit it
- Want to launch a new service and need to get an amazing services page (like this one) up on your site… fast
- Aren't ready to invest in a full project but would like to get some great copy until you are
- Want to see what it’s like working with me :)
Here's how a Magic Tonic Copy Intensive works...
Step 1. We start with all the details
I send you a big questionnaire to fill out so I can get a really good understanding about you, your business and your products or services.
Step 2. Then we chat
A few days before your copy intensive, we'll catch up for 1-2 hours and talk about your service or products so I know what you're offering, inside out. This helps me to dive deep into your project and map it out ready for the day intensive.
Step 3. I dig into your research (or conduct some for you)
By this stage, you've sent me any research you already have about your ideal client and any research you've done. Because of the time constraints of a copy intensive, I can only do a light amount of extra research (not including surveys or interviews).
However, if you know you don’t have enough, you have the option of adding on Customer Survey + Analysis so I can prepare this extra research for you before your day.
Step 4. Your actual day
When it gets to your big day, I reread all the research and start mapping out the project. Then I turn on some fitting music and dedicate seven full hours to your project.
If I don't think I can complete the project in the day, I will have already discussed this with you and I will hand over what I managed to do with next steps for you to complete the rest of the project yourself.
Step 5. I present you with your copy!
The next day I will reread everything with fresh eyes and then send it over to you with a video walkthrough with my reasoning behind what I’ve done. Then you have a week to read over it and book a follow-up call if you have any more questions.
Step 6. Follow-up call
If you’d like to talk through anything from the day or even get me to review some changes you’ve made, you’ll get a 30-min follow up call that you can use within a month of your copy intensive.
And that’s it! Your copy is good to go and ready to be shown to the world!

Do you need extra market research?
→ Add Customer Survey & Analysis
A copy intensive is a great way to power through a project. But it does have limitations.
Because we only have day, it means I can only work with the information you give me rather than including the usual level of research that comes with my projects.
But having solid market research sets the foundation for incredible copy. It helps you (and me) to understand your audience so I can create copy truly speaks to them.
If you know your own research is lacking and you don't have a lot of customer information to share with me, consider adding Customer Survey & Analysis...
Frequently Asked Questions
A lot, actually! But the extent does still vary on the individual project.
If you have content for me to start with (say you already have a first draft or you have plenty of customer research) then we can get a lot further along in a day.
If we're starting from scratch, the project would be closer to 60-80% complete. I would start with the strategy, create the skeleton of the layout and work on the copy until the time is up. Then I'll share notes on how to complete the rest yourself (or you have the option to book another day for me to complete it).
The best way to get an idea of how much copy I can get through with your project is to get in touch and I'll walk you through how a Copy Intensive could work for you.
The best way to find out is to get in touch and I can give you customised information on your project.
No, you will receive your project back the following day. The reason I do this is because a copy intensive is, well, intense! I spend a solid day working on your project right up until the last minute.
The following day I wake up with fresh eyes and reread the entire document, making any final tweaks to it. Then I share it with you with a walkthrough video and next steps.
Sometimes we know up front that a project can't be completed in a day. For example, a sales page requires a minimum of two days.
For these kinds of projects, we can either plan for multiple days up front, or simply complete one and see if you'd like to finish the rest yourself or book another day.
If you know a great amount about your audience and you have collected information from them in the past (like interviews, testimonials, surveys etc.) then you likely don't need market research. Likewise, if your project is based more about you and your service (like a services page, mini nurture sequence, about page etc) then I can get enough information just from talking to you.
But for most other projects, I will need a bit of customer research and information to guide the copy. If you're unsure whether you have enough information for me, get in touch and I'll let you know.
Once we have discussed your project and you're happy to go ahead, payment is required up front to book the project in. I'll send you an invoice along with my terms and conditions and you can pay via PayPal, credit card or bank transfer.
Fill out the contact form below and I’ll get in touch with you within 2 business days.
The next steps for you are — reviewing my terms, processing the payment and filling out the initial questionnaire. Then we’re on our way to getting your project done in a day!
